Definition of HIJRAH

Hijrah means migration.

The Hijrah refers to the Prophet's migration from Mecca to Madinah. This journey took place in the twelfth year of his mission (622 C.E.). This is the beginning of the Muslim calendar. The word hijrah means to leave a place to seek sancturary or freedom from persecution or freedom of religion or any other purpose. Hijrah can also mean to leave a bad way of life for a good or more righteous way.

Long Weekend

Will be heading 2 my former school later in the evening, for Sister Enda's 80th Birthday Bash celebration... @ SMK Assunta, PJ.. The school that i've left for so long, i think around 15 years by now... Heard that there are lots of changes... Can't wait 2 be there...

The theme is Irish, or come in green, so definitely i'll come in green... Well its more 2 turquoise (thanx 2 sponsor... ehem ehem... u know who u are ***wink wink***)...

Will pick up Maizan from from her house in Taman Tun, and head to PJ... Lots of things to catch up with Maizan... Been ages since I last met her... Can't wait 2 meet the rest... And Sister 2, of course..

As for Sunday, I'll be heading back to Kampung (in Olak Lempit, Banting) as we're celebrating our 34th Annual Family Gathering of Al-Bajuri... Lots of things planned ahead... From 7.30 am to probably midnight...

Bruise or 'digigit H**TU'?

Got a bruise in my hand... Some people kata, kalu ada lebam mcm 2, means kena gigit hanfantufu, should i believe? Ntahlah... M x 2 sure... Maybe kot...

Kind to think about it, it probably make sense... S i was at a beach untill azan Marghrib... Masa azan baru balik, then when i got home, i realize that my hand dah ada bruise...

I probaly bumped into something kot, but i can't recall of any... Futhurmore, the bruise macam took so long to go off... It it had been more than a week...

Well, it might be a coincidence...

Stress & the so called 'remedy'

Something came up 2day... I do felt its impact and definitely i felled stressed up... Rasa nak nanges pun ada.. And of coz, i did shed few drop of tears... It's a lie if i say i didn't...

Called my better half, apparently he was bz at work and he has enough already, so i didn't want to put more pressure on him, so i've decide to keep it 2 myself first...

Called Lyn, but remembered she wasn't well... Sorry kaco u...

Then, i remenbered, Adam kata kalau stress, it's good to go shopping, and SPEND... So, i took my bag, started my car, and headed to Subang Parade... Listen to Dafi's album over & over again- almost full blast volume...

Today's the big day...

The table set up for VIP - in the process of setting up

There'll be an event organized by Pewani UiTM. What makes this event special is the concept - it's Ladies Nite. Therefore, the participants will all be Ladies, including the staff - right from the serving staff right to the ones taking care of AV and lighting system.

Absolutely no men are allowed in the banquet hall - the only mode of communication will be the walkie talkie...

That's makes it crucial, as normally these 2 task will be handled by the maintenance department which are all guys. But now, WE (and the ladies including myself) will have to handle it.

Coincidently, i'll be taking charge of the lighting system... (hahhahah... Shah Lampoo sgt kan) - very the seswai with my gelaran - i just realize it... Furthurmore, I've experience (katanya) handling it 2 years ago...

The concept is 'Malaysian Women'. So its kinda macam Muhibbah sket... We decided to have lots of batik motive to enhance the Malaysian image. So, here i am - going in and out of Nagoya buying materials for the deco - but that doesn't make me 'Makcik jual kain' ok.... Phuleeezzzzz.... LOL

Another big day as its' Dafi's Birthday...

I wonder how these 2 event could happened back to back with one another - what a coincidence. Kena pandai manage time, rite... So sorry guys if i can't give my full co-operation ya... But m sure this event will be a blast!!!

Lemah

Wah! Tajuk posting macam 1 kind jer... But certainly that's not the way m feeling rite now despite the tonne of workloads on my shoulder, for this upcoming weekend...

I finally got the chance of listening to one of Dafi's song entitled LEMAH, it's the soundtrack of Cicakman 2 - Planet Hitam. M sure ramai yang dah dengar but this is my first time... So, kind 'jakun' a little...

I turned on the radio just now n they were promoting this movie, I first heard the radio playing Dibius Cinta, then another song which m not familiar with... Then I heard Dafi's voice - voila! this is LEMAH...

Baru cakap malam tadi about this song. Dafi sounds good & its kinda 'cute' too... LOL

ps : yes Ray! It's Lemah, not Lelah ok... I finally got it correct...

Perfume Warehouse Sales

After waiting for almost a year, finally, the Perfume Warehouse Sale is back for grab. Actually this is my first time checking out perfume sale. According to Lyn, this is the time buy perfume at (almost) unbelievable discounted rate. But it normally held once a year. So u spent certain amount of money for the perfumes, lepas 2, setahun x payah beli - that makes u save.

So we checked this place out at Armada PJ. Of coz, yang very the branded won't be available at this this kind of sales. But the brands available was quite ok...

Went there with Lyn, Fara n our 'bodyguard' of the day - Adam Arjuna... Adam teman je, Adam xmo beli... Katanya... Last-last, beli gaks... How could he ever resist kalu jumpa EDP (eu de parfum) for RM 19.00 n Nautica yg murah murah gils...

Cik Fara yang baru lepas spm ni pun tergoda with MnG that cost only RM39.00 but then, her Mum didn't give her consent - poor little girl, its ok Fara, next time ok...

Sorry 2 say but lately we've just got this 'mirror syndrome' LOL

Then we went to Subang Parade n Carrefour to get some stuff for the girls... Initially, we're supposed to get it from Carefour but x cukup stock, so we walked al the way to Parade n got it. Gigih kan??? But it's ok, we know its worth it.

After getting those stuff, we had snack - corn in the cup. Quite tasty as it had flavours - not like the typical one. Fara had corn with condense milk, Lyn n myself - corn with Thai sauce n Adam just had the normal one...

The we headed to Fara's house to get some stuff (pertaining Terbang Tinggi event). Adam was supposed 2 join us but his car broke down. Cian Adam... Sabo jerla... Xpe Adam, esok beli battery baru ok...

Btw, just 2 say thanx to Aunty for these lovely dishes - Speghetti Bolognaise, Nasi Goreng & Cekodok... Lyn, thanx for the duku - Lemak Duku sgt kan.... :)

Thai Massage

Went for Thai Massage at Arokaya of Bukit Raja, Klang... Basically, their concept is slightly different from Chinese massage or our traditional massage...

We took 'body massage / full body therapy' that cost RM 40.00/person for 1 hour... Was thinking of checking out the reflexology gak but i decided to take 1 step at the time ( wah! mcmlagu Jordin Spark plak... lalalalla) and try the body massage first... Dat one buat later la, or maybe i'll check out the Chinese reflexology at Summit...

As for the body massage, the result were satisfying... Our body felt so relief then...

Were placed in a 'cubicle' for couple. Firstly we have to change to the massage attire. One good thing about it was, u can choose either male or female to get it done...

Went to Jusco with better half. Initially, to redeemed my voucher n to buy some stuff.. Then, went to Old Town Kopitiam to check out my favorite French Toast & Xi Mut Milk Tea...

Then, i got a surprise - a brand new Memory Pillow of Akemi... Best gils... Very comfy... Personally, I felt that its better compared to Jean Perry... Well, it depends on one's comfort... It comes in two types : Akemi Autograph & Akemi Avantgarde... Akemi Avantgarde is the feather type... I don't think it suites me...

It's called Memory pillow as it follows the shape of one's head - and back...

Initially, we planned to go to UiTM to celebrate, but due to certain circumstances, we decided to meet up elsewhere.. I was hoping more to come, but thinking of the fact its office hour, so it was just Ray, Megat, myself and of coz, Azim...

Asim were with his family from Sabah. Mak Buih couldn't make it... Tetiba her boss bagi keja. Of all other days.. kannnn... Wish u were with us , Lyn... Seriously...

So we met up at kedai kopi Tasik Shah Alam, had lunch (thanx Azim!) and melaram with Megat's D40...
