1st attempt of Krispy Kreme

Heard a lot about Krispy Kreme from the net. So checked it out when it finally opens in Malaysia. Apparently, I haven't got the chance to have those there so I asked hubby to take it away and ate at home.

My brief summary :

The texture - crispy in the outside, soft inside

The taste - good but a bit sweet. Mostly has the frosty sugar thingy coat. That caused the sweetness. Especially for the ones with fillings inside. Those filling are already sweet but when the outer part is coated with sugar, the combination became too sweet and hard to tolerate.

Personal favorite - New York Cheesecake (top row - right) & Chocolate Glazed Cake (top row - left). Initially, i thought i was gonna be in love with Hershey's Dark Chocolate (1st row - second from right), but the sweetness of the sugar coat kills the taste of the chocolate chunk.

Price - quite costly as it's higher than JCo. Economical to get a dozen compared to half.

All in all, i think i still prefer JCo, kot... But it's not for me too decide yet as i've got to try more variety and have it there. Heard that it tasted better having it there while it's still fresh.

My Luvely Little Daisy

Help... I'm currently addicted to this!!!

It has a sweet smell, yet strong enough... Hope I could get the fund to get a bottle of the actual one... As rite now, i'm only using the miniature which i 'kirimted' from my boss during her trip to Singapore. It's a 4ml bottle and it cost $18 (around RM44).

It's cute n handy. I have it my handbag and take it wherever i go.... Enough said...

Been busy n haven't got the space to do any updates... Furthermore, the office's internet hasn't been 'friendly' lately. Read hannah's view abt it here. When I got home, m just too tired 2 be on9. Paling2 pun, 'menyiput' hubby's lappy jap... LOL

The 2 MELATI of the day

Upon driving home from work (at 11.000m) , I realized that i encountered with 2 MELATI during the day. What a coincidence!!!

The 1st Melati - Dewi Melati...

Handled Wedding Reception of Mohd Hari Akmal & Dewi Melati.

What's special about this couple is coz dorg ni cool sgt. So friendly, funny n jovial. So does his Mum, Pn. Azizah. Such a lovely organizer. They didn't stop thanking us after the event. What touches me was when I received an sms from Pn. Azizah early morning, the next day thanking me n my colleague, Nida. Jarang dapat organizer baik camni...

It feels so good when our effort & hardworks is acknowledged n appreciated.

note : the groom reminds me 2 Azim... wonder camni kot if Azim jd pengantin.... Alamak! larikkkk

The 2nd Melati - Kolej Melati, UiTM...

Apparently, IRCC is selected as the suplier of Batik MIIM, for Minggu Mesra Siswa, UiTM . Formally known as Minggu Silaturrahim, Minggu Wawasan Siswa, etc. A week of trauma 2 all newcomming students... LOL... It's an orientatian week...

What we had to do was to distribute it among the students. Pening tgk batik yg banyak. Once they came up from the taklimat kolej, they came to to obtain the batik.

What pises me off was, biasala, nama pun kolej girls, so banyakla cekadak dorang ni. If u're dealing with ME, sorryla, I jadi mulut L***K***G under preassure... Please lah...

- ada tapi u kena pg tailor n tempah sendiri...

Come on, there are like 300 over student in front of us, n they can ask those kind of question, please lah... Thank goodness ramai yg tolong... Hhehehheh...

But this is only the 1st batch, more to come by end of June... Enough said...

Syukur Alhamdulillah, Mum is back from Tanah Suci dengan menaiki pesawat SV 834 yang telah mendarat di KLIA pada 19 Mei 2009 jam 1415 hrs, dengan selamat, sihat dan sejahtera...

Terima kasih atas doa kalian... Appreciate it...

Since I was in KLIA, made an attempt to meet up with Nad... Lama betul x jumpa dia... I do understand her working hour. Xpe Nad, nanti one we catch up ok... With the rest, too... Esp. the girls :D

Btw, thanx for the info taw, akak dah x larat nak call immigration n xdapat response... But now, I had 2 reschedule the whole leave n vacation thingy... Tp, at least, better be safe than sorry, kan...

I was thinking of meeting up with Fendy but he just went back. Apparently, never had the luck 2 meet him up la...

Ramblings - what a long day

What a long day that I faced 2day...

Firstly - Kena 'bulldush' from other department...

- This is a normal meeting that we've always had fortnightly. 2day, ada dis guys x puas hati with my department. He hardly comes - normally the clerk will attend. 2day he attended with one purpose - nak 'spank' the Sales & Mktg dept. Ok fine, he's got point but what pisses me off was, selalunya x reti dtg mtg, sekali dtg nak belasah orang...

Please lah! u think u're some hell of a great??? WTF!!!

Secondly - faced a rude customer...

Belum habis the above said meeting, I already heard the chaos in the office...
It didn't happen 2 me directly - he was attended by Hannah. Cian Hannah...
Can u just imagine? The teabreak was scheduled at 5pm at the poolside and he wanted 2 change the venue at 4... Everything was ready by then...

Prior arrangements were made with his colleague and everything had been agreed upon -the time, venue etc...

Ok fine, it's not that we didn't want 2 do it, as far as service line is concerned, we have 2 fulfill our guest's needs... The only that we x accept was, y must u be RUDE 2 us???

Nama jer keja dkt Suruhajaya KOMUNIKASI but what's the point if u even know how 2 communicate, Mr. F**Z*L!!!

Another long day awaiting tomorrow... Dinner for almost 600 pax... Masak la kita Hannah... Huhuhu...

Thirdly - someone that I cared about is undergoing a tough moment...

Something happened to her better half... I hope she will be strong to face this situation...
I can never imagine how on earth is she gonna face it but I've got faith in her.

My main concern now is her condition - I'm dead worried about her!

U take care care of yourself ok! I nak u makan and rest. Doa byk2 dia cepat recover. U kena sabar n kuat ok... Anything pls let me know... I don't want u 2 fall sick... U hang in there taw - macam kucing 2... LOL

YUNA, Fashion Show & Roti Sardine

There was this event known as 'Diploma Fashion Show' organized by UiTM Perak's Faculty of Art & Design. It was basically an event 2 highlight & judge the Talents among students. There were around 42 designers & over 100 designs.

The guest artist for this event was YUNA. My better half (who happens to an ardent fan of Yuna) was the one who got excited about it. In fact, he knew it 1st, before us - as he followed closelyYuna's activity. Minat sangattt... konsepnya...

Asked to come over 2 check Yuna out. Apparently he wasn't around at that moment as he needs to fetch his folks from LCCT... I could only laugh..... hahahahahhaah.... I knew I'm mean... lalallaala...

Coincidentally, Mamu Aziz came back from Sudan of the same time, 2... Mum boarded at 2pm for her Saudi Air's flight at 3, while Abg Aziz arrived at 2.30 pm...

So it was like a 'tukar shift' kinda thingy... Hehehehhe.... Sent Mum and fetch Abg Aziz...

Then we sent Abg Aziz home and had lunch at his house... masa 2 mmg tengah lapar , so semua pun makan dengan kadar yang agak banyak... Eeeee... Malunya... Makan mmg sedap, dah la beras Basmathi, lauk best2 lak 2... Ada ikan sambal, sayur sawi, telur dadar dan yang hebat is udang masak kari... Oh yea, ada sambal belacan gaks... Ya Ampunnns! Kenyang sampai malam.... Alhamdulillah... Pandai Akak masak :D

Dah la makan sedap, bila time balik dapat 'souvenir' lagi., imported from Dubai.. Kinder Bueno for dessert... Debok pun dapat gak, toffee... Tapi yang Bateel 2, nak tunggu Mak balik baru bukak... hehhehehhe....

What a long journey and long day, left home at 11.00am, back at around 7.00 pm... Sempat nap kejap before updating... Hope 2 meet Nad up but I guess, xde rezeki this time...

Dinner at Saba', Cyberjaya

Had dinner at Saba' Restaurant, Cyberjaya - located at Cyberjaya International College precisely.

It was a happening rendezvous. The crowd were huge. Mostly Arabian. Nevertheless, ramai gak Malaysian - that marks that the taste is tolerable to Malaysian taste buds.

It has a wide range of menu - i didn't know what to order...


We had Lamb Hanith (steamed) - RM 15.00











And Chicken Kabsah - RM 8.00

The price - really reasonable.

The Rice
The rice was so banyak - knowing Arab nyer portion. I barely finish half plate.

Just have a close look at the type of rice they used - it is Basmathi. Dah la banyak, sedap lak 2.

It not something like eating our normal briyani Johor nor Briyani Mamak (such as nasi Bukhara n such), it's really different. Comparing it will be like comparing apple & orange - a different type. The briyani doesn't come with gravy or any kind of dalcha. It comes with a sauce (something like sambal - really hot) & some kind of acar. Eventhough it's a bit dry compared to our local briyani, it has a moist texture. So u hardly feel the dryness.

The Lauk

Tender & moist. The taste was mild and not to spicy... Normally it's difficult to find soft meat when it comes to red meat (beef or lamb), but the lamb that we had was really soft & tender.

The Beverage

We tried Barbican - it's a non alcohol, Carbonated Malt drink.. A popular demand in Saba'. Probably it's signature drink...

Lemon & Raspberry Barbican (RM3.00) but we preferred the Raspberry

The Ambience

Normal scenery of Saba' - always so packed. Have to fight for seats... LOL. Nice place to hang out, especially for Shisha's lovers...

One good thing that i liked about this area is it OKU (Orang Kurang Upaya / disable) friendly.

note :

An incident happened here. We foolishly left something really valuable at the seat and realized it only an hour later. Almost lost our breath. Drove back there and syukur Alhamdulillah, it was being kept by the Restaurant Manager, En. Rahman. Thank to the Myanmar waiter who found it and passed over to the Manager. He is really honest. A very good worker... Pray for his well-being...

Btw, wouldn't want 'the incident' to happened again... Choi!!!
