Before proceeding to Istanbul, we transited at Bahrain.. Agak lama la, not just for hours but we even overnight at Bahrain... Bahrain is a great city, sangat maju... Their currency is higher than USD. Just imagine, 1 BD (Bahrain Dinar) is almost RM10.00... Just have a look at 1 of the building, if we feel that our TM's Pucuk Rebung is beautiful, this is something similar, but its twin tower...
We were accommodated at 'Bahrain International Hotel'... When I heard the hotel's name, I was imagining a 3 or 4 star kinda hotel. Well, rupanya the word 'International' hanya tempalan jer... Hakikatnya... no comment la... Something like our 'KL International Hotel' kot, yang located at Chow Kit... But this one lagi ADO!! But to make thing worst are the customers... Imagine Pak Arab dok mabuk2, plus hookers n all...
According to my cousin, it was more of a 'BROTHEL' (google it!), compared to a hotel... But its ok la.. We're grateful at it's basic needs were sufficient. We could clean ourselves, solat, rest, n such dengan selesa... It was just the environment jer yang x brapa ok... Furthermore, service pun ok, had technical default in the room but got it fixed, fast!
Since we're there, took the opportunity to check out Hard Rock. The main purpose was 2 get some merchandise jer... So we took cabs and go... The traffic was horrendous as it was a Thursday night (malam minggu) and their rest day is Friday... That cost around 3.00 BD..
