IFTAR WITH MAIZAN
Location : SANTAI, TTDI

Been centuries since I last met this Lawyer friend of mine. She's too busy with work and running errands for home. Since she happens to be free, I immediately said yes to her invitation. Decided on a place to buka and ordered food terus. So convenient!!!

We had Steamed Fish, Kailan, Tomyan & Telur Dadar. Since the Tom Yam came late, we took it home coz dah almost full, then. Overall, the food was ok but to me it's kinda costly wasn't too bad as we ordered fish... Thanks for the treat, Maizan!!!

IFTAR WITH COLLEAGUES & COUSIN

Location : AYAM PENYET AP, PYRAMID (my new craze)

Had plan to buka with my lovely cuzz couple, Linawaty & Azhan @ Ayam Penyet - initially flaming tp fully booked...

Then my colleague, Azzrin nak check out gak - initially nk buka hotel, but i said this is worth than hotel la... So she persuaded her hubby, Rosdi, then Hannah pun nak ikut... and dragged Sabrina along... So I booked 2 tables...

clockwise :
Lina, myself, Azzrin, Hannah yang menggedixxx, baby Faaiq yang chumells & Sab yang baik coz her kaki sakit... hahhahah

Pyramid's Ayam Penyet Ria is our new craze as it's a newly opened outlet. Sangat selesa and the foods are good. May cost slightly compared to the one in Desa Mentari that i had earlier. The foods are great & they enjoyed it too :D

We had Ikan keli penyet, Ayam Penyet & Sup Buntot (Sup Ekor)
- Semua pun sangat sedap...

The foods they ordered - Hannah hanya tempelan... hahhaha
The Bakso & Gado-gado is also delicious.
..

with Azhan & the heroes - Baby Faaris & Faaiq...

Poor little Faaiq!!!

His eyes terkena chip of the balloon which we got from Jco. Then they rushed to a clinic nearby and straight to SJMC. Thank goodness he's ok and nothing serious. But the scar will not go off. Click on the photo above, there's a scar on Faaiq's right eyes, and it'll remain with him... It's of Faaiq, as long as u're fit and healthy...

All in all, i had a lovely Ramadhan this year... Alhamdulillah...
Thanx to all yang dined and had iftar with us... Really had fun with all of u...

My special thx goes to my lovely coz rajin 'melayan' hehhehe...
Bak kata Azzrin at Ayam Penyet, "elok la 2, yang sorang Giler, sorang lagi melayan" hahhaha...

Really gonna miss Ramadhan when it's gone... Enuff said...

Iftar at Ayam Penyet RIA

As I was craving for Indonesian food, we had a berbuka session at Ayam Penyet RIA of Bandar Sunway / Desa Mentari. This place is located opposite Sunway Pyramid. Precisely next 2 Oldtown Kopitiam and a bridal house.

The specialties of this place is obviously Ayam Penyet (smashed chicken as translated in the menu card). Unlike any other places which offered buffet, this place served simplified menu, not too elaborate yet filling. I ordered Ayam Penyet & Bakso. It's up to the customer to consume the Ayam penyet with rice or vise versa. But it comes separately.

Bakso - RM 5.00
Ayam Penyet - RM7.00

The bakso tasted good. It comes with soohoon. It had 4 large meatballs but i wished they serve extra gravy as i love soup so much... Sangat mengenyangkan...

Being to several Indonesian Rest. makes me compare and contrast. I personally felt that this is one the best Ayam Penyet i've ever tasted. The meat is really soft & tender. It is normally quite difficult to eat fried chicken with fork & spoon. But the chicken is really soft, u had no difficulties separating the bones from the flesh...

The chicken comes with kangkung, cabbage, slice of cucumber, fried tauhu & sambal. But beware! the sambal is really HOT!!! Just have a look at the amount of cili padi. No wonder la so pedas...

It was so hot i can't stay away from the tissue box.. lol... Lyn keep on asking me "nak sambal lagi ker? Sambal I banyak lagi ni"... Aiyooo! Mentang2la, I kept on asking for sambal... kannnn... Btw, for those yang x makan pedas, u may ignore the sambal or request not to be served in the plate. The sambal is not a problem...

After stuffing ourselves with the lovely cuisine, apa lagi, start taking photos la... Definitely x sah if x amek photos... In fact, we've started taking photos before waktu berbuka, but since we had a discussion then, we just had a few shots and continue after berbuka...

muka-muka kekenyangan :D
what a coincidence all guys were in black...
ops! not all... hehheheheee...

with the girls : Nad, Lyn & Fara

the girls with ADAM EFRON!!!
---larikkkk

Then we continued at Old Town Kopitian as it was comfortable to hang out and chat. Initially, besides buka puasa, we were thinking of a little farewell for Safia as she will be heading to Dublin next week to furthur her studies. So i brought a little cake yang tidak seberapa. Apparently, she couldn't make it. So we just had it among ourselves...

Syazwan dropped by at Oldtown for a while...

"Ayat-ayat Cinta" by Adam & Nad...
hehhehehe....

All in all, I had fun dat night with all of u guys, thx a lot for the wonderful time... Mwahhsx!!!

Glipmse of Bazaar Ramadhan Bandar Baru Bangi

Weekend is time to be at In Law's. Therefore, we checked out Bazaar Ramadhan of Bandar Baru Bangi, which is located at Kompleks PKNS.

The traffic was tremendously horrendous. It was so difficult to get in. To be on the safe side, we just parked outside and walked in...

Nevertheless, the crowd wasn't too bad. It was ramai but there were still space to 'breath' unlike Shah Alam's Bazaar Ramadhan.

Lets check out the ayam percik... So far there's 3 stall of ayam percik... These 2 are slightly cheaper but doesn't seemed to be selling good. Cian gak dkt owner...

Apperently, this one is selling so fast, despite the price... It's known as 'Wak Ayam'... Signage agak sedey but sangat laku...

As a matter of fact, rasanya mmg sedap... It's one of the kind... Yummy...

Just have a look at the queue... Approximately 20 minutes of waiting...

We bought Pulut Panggang yang sangat huge...

Gulai Kawah...

And, Kambing Briyani of MATTOP BARIANI...

Went straight to the shop as the ones at his stall dah banyak habis... I wanted the lamb shank & ribs.. Thank goodness the shop is not too far to walk, and alhamdulillah, my portion ada lagi... The meat is so soft and it tasted good... Father in Law loved it so much...

I recommend this to anyone in Bangi...

And some frehly blended fruit juice... yang sangat manisss and cair.... erkhssss ...

Taraaaaaaa.....

2 hours for only RM0.50

Hubby was at Steven's Tea Corner (STG - not Steven's corner taw) happily using the free wifi with his forex thingy. As he was about to pay, he gave an RM5 note to the cashier :

cashier : ada lima posen x?
Hubs : ada - gave him the coin
then, the cashier pass back the RM5 note...
Hubs : kenapa ni? Saya minum teh tarik taw...
cashier : yelah, saya taw... ada balance seposen lagi... kita ada promotion bulan ramadhan...
Hubs : owh ye ke? ok...

then, he called me straight away, dengan hati yang berbunga-bunga riang...

Pappa Rich

Had our berbuka puasa session at Pappa Rich, SS15 branch... Actually, hubs been wanting 2 take me there eversince, due 2 some reason, i put it on hold 1st... Finally we managed to hop in and had our meals there...

To us, Pappa Rich is not like the normal type of kopitiam, it's of to a higher end - tengok harga la dowh!! But it's really worth it... The taste, quality, presentation is really worth the price...

When we arrived, we were immidiately served warm water and slice of watermelon, for berbuka puasa...

Lets take a look at what we had at Pappa Rich :

Pappa Cendol - RM 4.80

- for chendol lovers, ini adalah sedap...

- teruk gak kena 'paku' dkt office while composing this post... lol

Pappa Curry Laksa Special with Foochok

- RM 9.90

- This tasted good, too... terasa all the spices

- Just have a look at the large chuncks of chicken

Dry Curry Mee with Foochok & Fishcake

- RM 8.90

Another good one...

The best part about eating dry curry is the 'menggaul' process...

Add some chilli padi, and some soup... Marvellous!!!

- don't be fooled by the bill as it doesn't include beverage...

- Will certainly drop by again... That time gonna try the steamed pau & roti bakar / kukus :D
