Anniversary Dinner at Bubba Gump

It's another anniversary and we decided to have dinner at Bubba Gump, Sunway Pyramid.. It has another out let at the Curve but this is nearer... It's a cool place to chill.. Sangat happening yet cosy... I love the ambiance & decoration.. It brings the concept of Forrest Gump!!!

This place is really unique...

Since it applies the concept of Forrest Gump, the system that they implement for the waiter & waitress is really cute... They have this signage thingy that if u want 2 call upon the waiter, just flip to "STOP FORREST STOP".. Meanwhile, if u x need anything from them, just leave it to "RUN FORREST RUN"... and they will just walk past the table, without the need to stop...

Enuff about the place as a whole... Ok... Lets get to the food section... We ordered a set meal consists of 6 courses (including drinks... i don't wanna exaggerate)...

- garlic bread, salad, main course, dessert, coffee and refillable drink...
all these for RM55.00++... all comes to RM 63.25 nett...
- i think it's really worth it.. If u x a 'big eater', this set is sufficient for 2 person...

As for the Main Course, it came with selection of 4... I can't really remember what are those, but basically it was Chicken, Seafood, Steak & Rib... We took Rib as we both love it and it the most expensive among the 4 choices... Ahaks..

As for the dessert, it came with 2 choices... Bread Pudding or Chocolate Chip Cookie... Initially it was Strawberry Shortcake or Chocolate Chip Cookie... Both came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream... And whipped cream... But i felt that the bread pudding was a bit tooo sweeeetttt for me...

Cajun Shrimp

- a perfect combination with the set meals as wasn't too heavy n reasonable...
- come along with the wonderful garlic bread.
- the taste was really yummy...

- the rest were similar...

All in all, i prefer the 1st time we went there... the service was better, and they paid more attention to us... We know we x contribute much but well, we're still customer... Maybe there wasn't enough staff as the long CNY holidays were approaching... But thanx goodness the foods were fine...

What's even more special about this date is Hubby's Birthday!!!

What a coincidence that his birthday falls on this beautiful date.. To me, this date represents him, as he lovesss all this computer thingy and could easily be stuck in front of the PC for hours... Doing only god knows what... lol...

But i always look at the bright side of thing and hope 2010 will bring more luck, brighter future and the best in everything.....

Hartamas Square with the Guys

It's a day out for the guys!!! Hubs had plan with his bffs and they've agreed to meet up at Hartamas Square... Haven't been there for quite sometimes... The only thing i hate about this place is the traffic congestion n limited parking space...

Btw, Aisyah ni pemalu orgnya.. It'll take time for her 2 'warm up'... Tapi makan pedas ok... Selamba jer dia hirup kuah tomyam... Yang best 2, x minum air manis, just plain water jer... Cayalah Aisyahhh....

We had Arabian food... Hubs had Chicken Kabsyah... Rasa ok... The rice is a lot and the chicken taste good... It comes with 2 type of gravy... Sorry 2 say, but i prefer Saba's (Cyberjaya) Chicken Kabsyah...

I had 'plate of Shawarma'. Besides this, Shawarma comes in the rolled sandwich type... I think this is really worth... For RM15.00, u'll get a plate of shawarma, with fries, lots of vegies, and 3 slices of bread... 2 slices on seperate plate n 1 slice underneath the shawarma... We took a mixture of lamb & chicken but 2 me, chicken taste better...

Edil's stewardess sister bought me this fridge magnet from Melbourne, Australia...
Syukur Alhamdulillah... Bertambah koleksi ku yang tidak sepertinya itew :D

Hubby's 'Mini Reunion'

Ini kisah 5 sekawan... Sham, Edil, Zack, Ismali & Lan. They've been friends ever since they studied in UiTM Jengka, then Shah Alam.. They even stayed at the same dorm called Perindu... aka Perin-ZOO.. hahhahhaha.... If u're from UiTM, u'll be well verse abt 'Perinzoo'...

The left one is Ismali, immediate right is Zack, the one next to Zack is Edil... Apparently, Lan was not around as he is in Malacca, and hardly comes down to KL...

This is the 1st time they met Mali, after 12 years... Well, as per Hubs, Mali mmg type yang baik, innocent n decent... Well, obviously he is...

As for Edil n Zack, they met quite often... Had buka puasa together, open house n more... Especially Edil, as he is just staying around the corner... As i dalam jajahan Shah Alam gaks... So selalu lah dorg ber2 ni lepak... Pegi 'dinding' n allll... Hanya dorg yg taw di manakah dinding.... hehhehehehe....

Actually, they're planning 2 have a reunion for their classmates of Diploma Teknologi Tekstil, Applied Science Faculty... Probably in December or March 2010...

In the means of planning n tracking down all the classmates... Thnx 2 Facebook... Ramai jugak dah jumpa... As for me, i've got so much on my mind that i wanna suggest to them... hehhehehhe.... Hopefully it'll be meriah... and yang penting hope it will become reality....

So, this session kira 'mini reunion' la gamaknya...

Since it's their 1st 'reunion' with Ismali, they treated him Flaming Steamboat... Hope he loved it as much as we did... As for me, I was just 'menyibuk' jer... hehhehehe.... Went back (after 'stuffing' myself :D with lotsa seafood n 'papan' - a term i used for fucuk)... just 2 let them have sometimes for themselves... Thx Edil coz anta Sham balik...


Owh ya, this was also my 1st time 2 Flaming after so long... the last time i got here was before Ramadhan, lama kn... Now ada another level opened according 2 Edil n NadRainbow...

N i realised ada several new items, esp shelled seafood... M x sure what its called, but it looked like 'abang kepada siput sedut' :)) But the texture is a bit keras compared to siput sedut n ada the layer that needed to be removed too, just like siput sedut...

Hubby was at Steven's Tea Corner (STG - not Steven's corner taw) happily using the free wifi with his forex thingy. As he was about to pay, he gave an RM5 note to the cashier :

cashier : ada lima posen x?
Hubs : ada - gave him the coin
then, the cashier pass back the RM5 note...
Hubs : kenapa ni? Saya minum teh tarik taw...

cashier : yelah, saya taw... ada balance seposen lagi... kita ada promotion bulan ramadhan...

Hubs : owh ye ke? ok...

then, he called me straight away, dengan hati yang berbunga-bunga riang...

Lately i've been busy & haven't got the chance to do any updates... Apa yang busy sgt? Well, being busy is one thing & getting the chance 2 do updates is another thing. At times, when I got home i'm just too tired to do any updates... Of coz, i'll never do it at the office...

So please excuse all the 'sawang-sawang' that i managed to collect... LOL

For instance, 2day i followed Hubs 2 Kuala Selangor & Tg. Karang as he had some errands be done. Eventhough it was pretty tiring, but m really happy as i've got to spent the whole day with him (as written in my FB status). What made him even happier was when he a saw a 4WD that advertises FX OPEN. Fyi, fxOpen is a broker (or sumthig like dat) for his forex thingy...

Went to Sunway Pyramid 4 dinner. As I suddenly craved 4 Orange Freez... Hahhahah... Then we juz jalan-jalan and checked out Bubba Gump Shirmp Co.- looks really tempting. Will check out the outlet after payday...

As we passed by Crocs, we went in the as was on sale. Then he showed this pair of shoes yang berharga only RM100.00, it was discounted 50%. So, I went like if ada size why wait? Then we checked, mmg ada size.. Only 2 pairs left...

Voila........

His Belated Birthday Present ♥

Finally, after thinking hard & deep of what 2 get for Sham's birthday, I've finally decided to get him an external hard disk. Firstly, planned nk buat surprised, kind 2 think about it, i'd better reveal it due 2 several consequences, such as - when it comes to computer thingy - i just leave everything to him since he's better of it. Takut nanti, planned nak buat surprised but i might be the one yang surprised!!!

Thank goodness i told him 'my niat suci' hahahhaha... Coincidently, he was planning to get one, too... Fhewwww....

So after searching high n low, up & down from Cineleasure to Low Yat Plaza, he decided 2 setlled on this one known as Buffalo MiniStation USB Hard Drive. Its 320GB uols... Double of mine.. Got it from Thunder Match, Low Yat Plaza.

One good thing about this brand is, it is 'anti-shock'. Therefore, it's protected even it dropped. But apparently, its very the 'tebal'... ekekkekeeke :)
