Hubby's 'Mini Reunion'

Ini kisah 5 sekawan... Sham, Edil, Zack, Ismali & Lan. They've been friends ever since they studied in UiTM Jengka, then Shah Alam.. They even stayed at the same dorm called Perindu... aka Perin-ZOO.. hahhahhaha.... If u're from UiTM, u'll be well verse abt 'Perinzoo'...

The left one is Ismali, immediate right is Zack, the one next to Zack is Edil... Apparently, Lan was not around as he is in Malacca, and hardly comes down to KL...

This is the 1st time they met Mali, after 12 years... Well, as per Hubs, Mali mmg type yang baik, innocent n decent... Well, obviously he is...

As for Edil n Zack, they met quite often... Had buka puasa together, open house n more... Especially Edil, as he is just staying around the corner... As i dalam jajahan Shah Alam gaks... So selalu lah dorg ber2 ni lepak... Pegi 'dinding' n allll... Hanya dorg yg taw di manakah dinding.... hehhehehehe....

Actually, they're planning 2 have a reunion for their classmates of Diploma Teknologi Tekstil, Applied Science Faculty... Probably in December or March 2010...

In the means of planning n tracking down all the classmates... Thnx 2 Facebook... Ramai jugak dah jumpa... As for me, i've got so much on my mind that i wanna suggest to them... hehhehehhe.... Hopefully it'll be meriah... and yang penting hope it will become reality....

So, this session kira 'mini reunion' la gamaknya...

Since it's their 1st 'reunion' with Ismali, they treated him Flaming Steamboat... Hope he loved it as much as we did... As for me, I was just 'menyibuk' jer... hehhehehe.... Went back (after 'stuffing' myself :D with lotsa seafood n 'papan' - a term i used for fucuk)... just 2 let them have sometimes for themselves... Thx Edil coz anta Sham balik...


Owh ya, this was also my 1st time 2 Flaming after so long... the last time i got here was before Ramadhan, lama kn... Now ada another level opened according 2 Edil n NadRainbow...

N i realised ada several new items, esp shelled seafood... M x sure what its called, but it looked like 'abang kepada siput sedut' :)) But the texture is a bit keras compared to siput sedut n ada the layer that needed to be removed too, just like siput sedut...

11th September 2009

11th September 2009 is supposed to be Dad's birthday... Apparently, the last celebration that we had was way back in 2005 before he left on 22nd July 2006...

Nevertheless, 11th September will always be a date i cherish for the rest of my life... Even though he is no longer with us, but his spirit, memories and strength will always be with me... For as long as i shall live...

May he rest in peace... Semoga roh Abah ditempatkan di kalangan orang2 yang beriman... Amin...

Abah, we miss u so much... Nak2 lagi bila dah nak dkt Raya ni, I can easily go insane if m not strong and think about it too much... -Enuff said-

Pak Andak dalam kenangan

Al-Fatihah buat roh Pak Andak, Hj Shamsuddin Udin... Teringat lagi how Pak Andak used 2 fetch / sent me home everyday lepas ngaji dgn Mak Andak... Hanya Allah yang dapat membalas jasa baik kalian...

Exactly 2 days after Dad's "anniversary", received an sms from Ayu saying that Pak Andak passed away... I'll never forget his kindness of sending me home everyday on his way back 2 work... More than that, if I ngaji belah petang, he will fetch me, sent me 2 his house, then patah balik pegi kerja...

For all the troubles he went through, no words could ever explain, nothing could ever repay...

the Day You Went Away

22nd July 2006 was a date i'll never forget...
woke up early that day, getting ready 4 work that was supposed 2 start at 9...
apparently, we left early that day as i followed hubby to Sek. Memandu Cemerlang, in Klang...
once we arrived, received a call from mum "Abah jatuh bilik air, dah sejuk dah kaki dia"...
startled!!! rushed home...
on my way home, received another call "balik cepat skt, Abah dah takde"
BLANKED!!!!!!!

the journey home from Kampung Jawa to feels like eternity...
once i got home, both my uncles were already there...
rushed in to find abah dah kaku atas katil, with his singlet n kain pelikat...
i still have hope untill a doctor came and clarified "he's gone"..
and still have guts to ask "doc.. are u sure?"
i knew i was foolish then...

but what i knew was :
from that moment, my life changed completely...
from that moment, things will never be the same again...


-enough said as i really can't elaborate it anymore - tears just can't stop running anymore-

Even though u may not be as extensive n sophisticated as SLR does, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with u, with your performance and everything that u've contributed 2 my life, all the pictures that u've captured, the wonderful that moments that u've stored and so much more...



Be it personal or official... Thanx for being there for me...

U know very well that I won't leave home without u... If that were so, there must've be some reason of me doing so... N I'll feel terribly awkward without having u with me. Despite the reason there's pictures to capture or vice versa, I still wanna have u by my side...

Thanx for making all my treasureble moments, memorable...

Meeting a Long Lost Friend

Edil Munawir & Hisyammuddin were good buddies. They were so close and went through thick & thin together. They knew each other ever since they studied in UiTM Pahang, then they transferred to UiTM Shah Alam pursuing Textile Technology of Applied Science.

They went seperate ways after Diploma. Edil continued his Bachelor in IT, meanwhile Sham in Hotel Management. After a while, they lost touch. Been trying to get in touch with one another, but it just didn't work.

Nevertheless...

One sweet day (hahhahha...ayat xbley bla) Edil spotted Sham while we were walking in Sunway Pyramid. Sham was startled! Well, God is Great! Amongst all the people (- just imagine Pyramid's Sunday crowd- we even had difficulties looking for a parking space) he managed to spot his long lost friend. Syukur Alhamdulillah...

Gosh! Style uols pun lebih kurang sama la... hehehhe

Well Edil, it was a pleasure meeting u. Sham talked a lot about u - of coz, the good one la :) he even mentioned how lovely & generous your families were. Btw, m so so sorry 2 hear about your late father. My condolences. Been there before. May his soul rest in peace - Al Fatihah...

September 11

September 11

- what a significant date... if this date is significant to the whole world, (America precisely) as it was the date of the catastrophic World Trade Center incident, it is significant to me in another way.

Every year, i will always look forward for September 11 as it was Dad's birthday. I'll buy cake, look for presents and go for dinner to celebrate his birthday. But it was all different starting from September 11, 2006 as he was gone on July 22nd - just month before his birthday.

Now September 11 is just memories for me. Memories that will always remain fresh in my mind... Forever...

Semoga rohnya sentiasa dicucuri rahmat serta ditempatkan dikalangan para aulia' dan shuhada'.

This our first buka puasa bersama. So we decided 2 have a 'pot-luck thingy. Dishes mmg macam-macam. Lyn brought the ayam masak merah yang merah merah menyala dalam pics 2... Azim brought tepung pelita... Nad kirim agar-agar... The rest, i couldn't recall... Sorry guys...

The girls siap pg bazaar Ramadhan lagi. Sambil membeli siap usha cute guys lg... Not names mentioned but u know who u are LOL... Then Lyn n Megat siap goreng cekodok lg... I brought the beverage which was a mixture of lychee, fruit cocktail n nata de coco...

After stuffing ourselves with numerous delicacies, as usual, we hang around, pose n do lotsa stuff. The did had a little discussion on our upcoming event which was the bersahur and Mesra Aidilfitri... Then, we continued with the sessions of chat, gossip xoxo and took lotsa pics...

Ada yang balik awal around 10 plus but majority went back at 1 plus... Crazy, huh?

Masa ni, the guys were looking for baju melayu kaler maroon, nak pakai raya cum for Mesra Aidilfitri (Yea Adam, bukan makan steamboat, yang korang had communication difficulties with foreign staff of the restaurant itew).

This is considered special berbuka session for us. It was held in one of the club in KJ. While waiting for the rest to arrive, we took several snapshot at the lobby.

After berbuka, we lepakted and play some kind of ntah apa-apa game :) one of it was turning around the 'lazy susan' (the round thingy on the table - tpt letak lauk yang boleh pusing2 tu). Konsep ala2 roda impian gitew... Sounds childish, but it was fun...

Few minutes later, there were black out for few seconds. The bila the lights datang balik, we sang a Happy Birthday song - saja jer, bukan ada bday sapa2 pun... Until we heard some1 saying "Alamak! they spoilt our surprise la... " Rupanya mmg ada someone's birthday n a birthday surprise were planned... hahahhaah....

Later, we continued at AnW, SS13, Subang Jaya before going off to our respective home...

16 years

Well, how do i begin...

Ok... Nak citer skt, 16 years ago, I was a typical, innocent (innocent, huh?) teenager just line any other girl, nothing special about me la... Being a teenager, biasalah, I do have my favourite artist - be it international or local. As for local artist, masa 2, yang famous was KRU, 4U2C, Exist- to name a few yang I minat...

I do idolize KRU, Yusry in particular hehehe... So 1 day, I found out that KRU nak buat concert, in live centre... I was like Omg! i must go... But in order 2 go, one must purchase a pack of coke (canned- contains 6 cans dalam satu pack). Puas I searched high and how for the particular pack until finally, finally found it at BP in SS2, PJ. So I bought, cut the particular portion and redeemed the tickets- x ingat dekat mana...

- Gigih sangat kan? Just imagine, i don't even have my own transportation at that time- belum cukup umur pun nk amik license :) ... But for the sake of going to KRU's ever first concert, I didn't mind going thru all the hassles...

Masa 2, KRU just launched the second album entitiled reKRUed.. The famous songs were Mengerti, Janji Tinggal Janji, Inikah ertinya cinta, and such...

So when the time comes, I went to the concert with some friends... That was my first time pergi concert ok... In fact, i think, the only time...

The concert was a bomb! Best gils... Siap ada gimic lagi... The gimic was, during the intro, Norman (or Edry, x ingat) turun to the stage from belah atas guna flying fox kinda thingy... Nowdays, its probably common, but during those time, to have that type of gimic memang considered gempak sgts sgts...

Ok, that was then...

Now, here I am, 16 years later... Attending another event at exactly the same venue... If 16 years ago, i was there as a fan looking forward for my favourite artist to perform, this time was totally different - I was there as a part of the team...


KRU's 16th Anniversary showcase really reminds me to the good old days... Masa sampai Ruums, when i was climbing the stairs, I was like omg! this place macam x berubah.. But of coz the interior set up was totally different... Hearing Adam sang Mengerti caused all the memories to came flashing in my mind...

To AC, Ayu, Dafi n the committee - Thanx for giving us the opportunity to be working with u guys - it was such an honour to be a part of KRU's team, even just for a while... Please excuse if ada any kekurangan or any dissatisfaction...

My Anniversary as VID

Today, 19^th June 2008 marks a year of me becoming VID of DFC.

I still remember on this date last year at A&W Subang Jaya, 3 days after Mesra bersama Dafi at Bukit Jalil.

It was an unplanned lepakking session. I just came back from work when suddenly Fara sms me saying that the VIDs plan nak lepak masa dalam CB. Frankly speaking, I hardly went online those days. She couldn’t make it as it was a weekday, sok nak skola… Then I decided to join even though I was still kinda segan with these people…

I got there a bit late as a had some stuff to settled at Subang Parade. If I wasn’t mistaken masa tu ada Ray, Lyn (n her curly hair), TRIO (Azim, Fendy & Syazwan), Megat, Joey, Adam, Anaz, Izwan n Safia (1^st time Saffy hanging out with us). So sorry if I missed out any names… Btw, missed Anaz n Izwan laa....

Then we talked and discussed lots of stuff n suddenly Ray elected me as on of the VIDs…

Ray : Amy, I elect u as one of the VIDs. I need u to be in charged of compiling n keeping data or records pertaining the VIDs or DFC…

Me : VID? But Ray, I hardly go online…

Ray : Its ok, then u are ‘VID Dua Alam’

Me : (Puzzled n blurr) VID Dua Alam?... Owh! Occay….

Then, there goes my journey in DFC… In fact, masa tu dah begin pun… Lalala…
