Waroeng Penyet, The Curve

Checked out Waroeng Penyet that is located at the Curve, Mutiara Damansara... Lotsa people often got confused between Waroeng Penyet and Ayam Penyet, as it served almost the same food, but it's entirely a different property.

One of the difference is, Waroeng Penyet served served Ayam / Ikan bakar which Ayam Penyet doesn't. There are other difference too which m gonna go into it later in this post.

We wanted to have Ayam Bakar, Ayam Penyet & Bakso but both of it ran out of thigh, we had to substitued with Ikan Keli Penyet and Ikan Bakar. We wanted Ikan Bawal Bakar but it ran out of stock 2...

Fyi, it was quite pack when we arrived. So we had to sit inside but managed to find a sit outside once it was vacated. It feels so cosy to be seated outside.

The specialty of Waroeng Penyet is that it offered 3 types of sauces and has its own sauce station whereby customer could replenish those sauces.

> Waroeng Penyet served Ayam & Ikan Bakar, Ayam Penyet doesn't

> The Ikan Keli of Ayam Penyet is larger

> Bakso - Ayam Penyet's bakso is chewy and larger, Waroeng's Bakso is softer

> Soda Gembira - Ayam Penyet's better

> Sauce - Hubs loved Waroeng's hot sauce (the left one) but i prefer Ayam Penyet's

All in all, both has its own specialty in a different manner...
