Pre Listening Session

This is a belated posting... I know m supposed to post it earlier but been busy with lotsa stuff... So it was tertungak n tertunggak...

Some info of the event :

Event : Pre Listening Session of Dafi's new singles, Adinda & Seumur Hidup...

Personally, I loved both of the songs, Adinda in particular... But m sure Seumur Hidup is gonna be a BOMB!!! Especially it's the soundtrack of KRU's new film, Jin Notty... And, it's totally different from my ever beloved Bila Terasa Rindu... Lalala...

Went back with Azim. On our way to sent Capek, we went for dinner at Chop & Steak at Kampung Baru... Nyummy... Nyummy...

I had fish and chips and Lyn had scrambled egg... Omg! Sedap gils ok... I laughed at her and said "u ni macam nak makan breakfast lak malam-malam buta ni" but ironically i felled in love with the scrambled egg... Last-last i ajak Abg Sham there on the next day and had the scrambled egg... hehhehe....

Moral of the story :
Mulut jangan hampeh sangat...
Belum try belum taw...
Enuff said...

16 years

Well, how do i begin...

Ok... Nak citer skt, 16 years ago, I was a typical, innocent (innocent, huh?) teenager just line any other girl, nothing special about me la... Being a teenager, biasalah, I do have my favourite artist - be it international or local. As for local artist, masa 2, yang famous was KRU, 4U2C, Exist- to name a few yang I minat...

I do idolize KRU, Yusry in particular hehehe... So 1 day, I found out that KRU nak buat concert, in live centre... I was like Omg! i must go... But in order 2 go, one must purchase a pack of coke (canned- contains 6 cans dalam satu pack). Puas I searched high and how for the particular pack until finally, finally found it at BP in SS2, PJ. So I bought, cut the particular portion and redeemed the tickets- x ingat dekat mana...

- Gigih sangat kan? Just imagine, i don't even have my own transportation at that time- belum cukup umur pun nk amik license :) ... But for the sake of going to KRU's ever first concert, I didn't mind going thru all the hassles...

- please don't laugh coz i know i looked foolish :)

Masa 2, KRU just launched the second album entitiled reKRUed.. The famous songs were Mengerti, Janji Tinggal Janji, Inikah ertinya cinta, and such...

So when the time comes, I went to the concert with some friends... That was my first time pergi concert ok... In fact, i think, the only time...

The concert was a bomb! Best gils... Siap ada gimic lagi... The gimic was, during the intro, Norman (or Edry, x ingat) turun to the stage from belah atas guna flying fox kinda thingy... Nowdays, its probably common, but during those time, to have that type of gimic memang considered gempak sgts sgts...

Ok, that was then...

Now, here I am, 16 years later... Attending another event at exactly the same venue... If 16 years ago, i was there as a fan looking forward for my favourite artist to perform, this time was totally different - I was there as a part of the team...


KRU's 16th Anniversary showcase really reminds me to the good old days... Masa sampai Ruums, when i was climbing the stairs, I was like omg! this place macam x berubah.. But of coz the interior set up was totally different... Hearing Adam sang Mengerti caused all the memories to came flashing in my mind...

To AC, Ayu, Dafi n the committee - Thanx for giving us the opportunity to be working with u guys - it was such an honour to be a part of KRU's team, even just for a while... Please excuse if ada any kekurangan or any dissatisfaction...

I’ll never forget 22nd July 2006 (sorrowful Saturday morning) as I lost my Dad... The hero of my life... My role-model, my icon, my everything...

I lost him dalam sekelip mata jer. There was no sign, no signal, no alarm. He wasn’t sick, no having any fever whatsoever – then when we gathered all information, I only found out that he was under a lot of stress and depression, tremendously…

Well, it shows that Allah lebih sayangkan dia… He didin’t have to go through all the pain and sufferings…

Its just the matter that the fact was shocking, devastating and took time to accept the fact that he’s gone… May he rest in peace... Al-Fatihah...

Arrived at around 6pm... After searching high n low for a parking space, we walked to the ward...

Thank goodness Maya's ward is for single, or else I can't imagine hows the situation was gonna be like.. We're like so ramai n bising...

Moment after we arrived, it was her meal time. So apa lagi, the visit begins with acara suap menyuap. Starts with Fara, Saf n Lyn. Since I had my chance at Ipoh, so I just passed...

My Favorite TV show - Desperate Housewives

Just finished watching desperate housewives...

Omg! I just loved it so much... Its the main reason why i hardly go out on Tuesday night... X caya, ask Lilo n Adam.. I can actually turn down their invitation to lepak Pakli just 2 watch it... haha... Sorry guys...

There's so many reason why I love watching it... The cast, the plot, the mystery, the wardrobe, the foods (yummy yummy) the beautiful Wisteria Lane, the terms n nice words used by Mary Alice, n how they relate thing together n so on n so forth... All in all, memang best la... N kind of unique though...

Bak kata Fara, citer ni mmg xbley bla... We can actually sms each other 2 talk about the character... Few weeks back, we sms coz x puas hati with Gaby, how 'geds' she could get... N how geram we were with the way she treated Roxy, Carlos nyer doggy...

N just now, we sms on how geram we were at Kayla... Aiyoo! dat girl... How could she do all that 2 Lynette when Lynette is so baik 2 her? She's so pethatic... Padan muka kena sent away.. Last2 baru nk nyesal... Too bad la... Its too little too late...

It really pissed me off at the last part when Lynette told that she was sorry about the way things turn up 2 be n she can actually say "no, u are not"... erggghhhhh... N her facial expression was like so harXX sgts...

Btw, nama Maynard really sounds awkward... kannn... But its significant to Mike, so i think its acceptable... But the baby's so cute... I love the balloons... Sayangnye semua kena poke...

Can't wait 4 next week's episode.. Wonder what's Wayne's gonna do to Adam, Kathrine's hubby... Wonder what's gonna happen to poor Ally, n her friendship with Gaby... Bree n the reverend??? n Orson, etc, etc...

Buah tangan from Lilo

Lilo juz got back from kampung... So she brought some 'buah tangan'...
On her way 2 class at UiTM (student katanya... walaupun...) she dropped by at home...

My Favorite 'Ayam Hitam'

Just to share what i had for dinner, just now...

Today, Abg Sham got back from Jalan Tuanku Abd Rahman, KL (aka Jln TAR / Batu Road according 2 my mum) and brought home something that I love so much...

I'm not sure what the name of this lauk is but we've always been calling it 'Ayam Hitam'...
[I called it Ayam Hitam because of the dish colour... It has nothing to do with the Black Chicken yang the Chinese masak 2... I don't eat that either... Tak lalu kot...]

Been craving for it since fasting month last year and finally 2day, I had a chance to eat it...
Yummy yummy...

Abg Sham bought 5 portions...
All dark meat (drumstick n thigh)...

The bowl seemed to be a bit comot as my brother dah makan earlier...

My dad had been taking me to this shop ever since I was a kid...

Meeting Hubby's Forex Buddies

Friday nite, I got a chance to meet hubby's buddies of his Forex thingy... The rendezvous was at Wendy's, Pyramid. Actually, we suggested the venue as they've always been hanging out at McD's most of the time. So I tot, y not come 2 Wendy's? Sajer try something new n harga pun almost the same..

We arrived few minuted earlier ordered our meals and then they arrived...
