Tickets of RAJA LAWAK 4 FINALE

The finals Gelaggang of Raja Lawak 4 is finally here...

These are the tickets that is allocated by Astro for the management n staff of INTEKMA Resort, the accommodation sponsor... It was quite an issue as every1 was aiming 4 it... Several work mate came asking for it fm me... No promise, guys...

The tix is limited... It's definitely x sufficient for all... Therefore I had to sit down with my superior n carefully allocate it among the departments... Priority given 2 the dept that deal closely with them... Hope it's fair enufff...

Nevertheless, i just wonder... Every week (for 9 weeks) i've technically asked every1 to join me watch the weekly Gelanggang at Astro... At first, ramai nak pegi, but at the end of the day, jauh la, Sunday nite la, xtaw jalan la... 1001 reasons la... if there's a will, there's a way la... Bila dah final, berebut lak... so... agak2 la uolss..... I bukan keja at ticket access or Astro...

If i am evil, mean and selfish... I could've easily cilok a few for my 'cronies' and declare : sorry astro bagi 1 jer.... hahhahahaah... how abt dat? but for people who knows me will know that i won't do such craps... I have 2 b fair to all...

The solution : hand over to the Heads, and up to them to distribute evenly...

ps : Ray & Megat, I'm so sorry ... I really x help with the tix as much as i wanted u guys 2 come with me to the finals as how u've accompanied me to the weekly do...

How I wish 2 see him in the finals but well, Malaysian couldn't accept him n got eliminated on the 3rd week, i baru nk accept his jokes ... x lawak, berangan Jepun, control macho, n lots of other remarks people made on him... But i do believe n his talents... As for me, I wish him all the best as i know that he can excell as he is multi talented... N really looking 4rd for his performance =)

So will it be Kechik, Alex or Idlan aka Abg Kassim?

BBQ Session of Raja Lawak 4

For the 1st few weeks of Raja Lawak 4, the contestants were given assignment to perform at Uptown Shah Alam. Meanwhile for the 4th week, they were given a task on handling a BBQ session. This event took place at at INTEKMA's Poolside. Besides BBQ session, there are also few performances. All these are for recording purposes to be aired for Ceritera Raja Lawak.

Being a liaison officer (person in charge) of RL, i was there to ensure that everything runs smoothly and was given the opportunity to join them sekali. Took a few snapshots and decided to share the fun that i had with them...

The task of the being the leader was given to Ali. He segregated the task among all members, as in to prepare the foods, performance, etc. Besides BBQ and performance, it was also birthday of one of Astro staff / RL crew, ANIQ...

All in all, i hope they had fun that nite as much as I did... Hope they are having a memorable stay at our place and will have us in mind, despite the fame and success... Even many are not fond or so much into Raja Lawak compared to other reality program, i enjoyed it and following them closely (hardly do this, i think the last time was during AF5 ***wink2***) Btw, handling this task is one of the best experience of my life :)

Gelanggang Raja Lawak

Time flies so fast... Raja Lawak dah masuk 4th season... Rasa macam baru jer Nabil became the winner... For this season, INTEKMA Resort is the official sponsor for accommodation... Well, they will be with us till March 2010...

Being the sponsor, we are given several passes to watch Gelanggang Raja Lawak... For the first week, no one could make it as represantative, probably coz the next day was first day of school... Probably if it were to be on Saturday nite, ramai yang pegi kot... So there I am, with my family having a great laugh during the show...

Zizan and Johan memang xbley bla... If watching them on TV is good enough to make you laugh, depan mata, lagi la... Furthurmore during commercial breaks... Even 30 seconds before the show starts pun, they could actually make jokes...

Besides being hillarious, they are really good host... They handled time & situation really well... Furthurmore when the stage manager is Dollah Cantek... Knowing him la kan...

This are the participants of RL4... No one got eliminated on the first week...

Exclusive screening of Fight Master : SILAT

Fight Master : SILAT is a collaborative journey between The New Straits Times & National Geographic Channel. It is in conjunction of Merdeka special. Do check it out on Astro Channel 553 starting on Merdeka Eve.

Basically this program is a kind of Documentary cum Reality Show, of an American Boy, Joel who came to Malaysia with his Silat Master, Cikgu Sam, to learn n master Silat.

This program also shows on the techniques of Silat Gayung. On the first hand, I thought it was gonna be a boring one as it was documentary show, but once it started, i enjoyed each n every second of it.

Rasa macam lagi best than going 2 movie preview. Of coz la i can't compare orange and apples. All I can say, watching it makes us feel proud of our national heritage, furthermore if u've learned silat before...

Being 2 the exclusive screening gave us the opportunity to meet up with Malaysian Silat Master. These people are the ones with highest ranking in Malaysia.

Hubby was extremely excited about meeting them as he was a former student of Silat Gayung, back then. According to him, meeting them was like meeting 'SIFU'.

Got the invitation from a dear friend of ours, Ms. Angeline Poon. As IRCC is one of NST's advertiser (even we didn't advertise much...lol), we were given the privilege of attending the launch ceremony.

Once we left the cinema, we rush to IT hypermarket as Hannah needs to get a mouse for her darlink lappy, as her previous mouse was not functioning anymore...

Since Ramadhan were just around the corner, we 'continued' our journey 2 Uptown Damansara... All of them Chicken Chop - I didn't... Ekekkekee.... Kenyang lagi uols - so just had popiah...

The Hell Engine Event yang sgt HELL!!!

I was drooling most of the times as I was looking at those foods... The menu was luxurious... The were briyani ayam, briyani kambing etc... But what made me crave were the ROASTED BABY LAMB & ROASTED CHICKEN... Seeing those foods being roasted and cut by the chef made me drool even more...

I said 2 Hannah, dapat sikit jadikla... I nk rasa, especially the lamb, especially the RIB part... It was really tempting...

Apparently, I could just berangan, the event, which was organized by Engineering Alumni aka Hell Engine (that's what they called themselves) turned up 2 be complete HELL!!!

To me, they were bunch of uncivilised creature (even they are really educated) trying 2 have fun in the most uncivilised manner - x gonna elaborate more (buat sakit hati jer)... Read Hannah's post on this...

I know u guys dah lama x jumpa n just wanna have fun but please lah, agak2 lah... I may not hang around with lotsa budak engine in my college days, that may be the cause I felt that they were acting like a bunch of 'orang gila' yang dah hilang akal n pertimbangan.

Just to share 1 incident that happened when I asked the so called MC 2 annouce no smoking allowed in the hall...
I was expecting it to be something like this (at least la) :
TOLONG JANGAN MEROKOK DALAM DEWAN

but it turned up to be:
XLEH ISAP ROKOK, WEI... (dgn nada main2)
TADI ADA AKAK BAGTAW AKU XLEH ISAP ROKOK (perlu ke mention?)
SAPA NK ISAP ROKOK? semua angkat tgn
then the audience went like X ENGIN LA X ISAP ROKOK... KITA ISAP JER...
- they went on with the agenda and left the topic aside

cam harrrrmx kn... baik aku xyah susah2 nk bagtaw kalu my statement setakat nk diperkotak-katik kn jer!!!

the thing that frustrates me more was when I didn't get the co-operation that I supposed 2 get...
It's ok, i understand that everyone has their own personal problem...

- went home with perut yang lapar + kempunan + hati yang sakit
- supposed to be sleeping, but stayed up 2 settled this post!
- i heard that the event wasn't close 2 being over by the time this is posted

Ikea's Return System - as easy as ABC

Bought a frame from Ikea few days ago.

Before we got the the chance to rip the plastic cover off, we realized there's a little crack... Hannah was so worried, but i went like, relax la, just go n change it... Furthermore we've got some other stuff 2 get...

So there we were....
Reached Ikea - headed straight to the Customer Service Section...



Pressed button A...


Waited for my turn - went 2 the counter - told them what happened... Filled in my name & number...

Then they issued this Return Voucher - no questioned asked :) just get the same item and present the voucher at the cashier...

Don't u think that was as easy as ABC... The only hassle we had to go through was the traffic and getting to Ikea again...
