Sorbet - From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sorbet (pronounced sore-bay) is a frozen dessert made from sweetened waterfruit (typically juice or puree), chocolate, wine, and/or liqueur. The origins of sorbet have explained being either a Roman invention, a Chinese invention brought back by Marco Polo or from a Middle Eastern drink charbet, made of sweetened fruit juice and water. The term "sherbet"/"charbet" is derived from Turkish: şerbat/şerbet, "sorbet", which in turn comes from the Arabic شربات sharbāt[1] flavoured with iced meaning "drink(s)" or "juice."
This is one of our latest crave besides Jco's Orange Freeze. Don't know y, bet we seemed to love the taste. It's frozen & sour - perhaps the the tangy flavor makes us in love n addicted to it.
It would taste better to give allowances around 5 minutes before consuming it. So it wouldn't be too icy n frozen and could feel the taste better .
Besides those, there are also other flavours such as :
- coconut,
- Pina Colada,
- pineapple,
- red & green apple,
- mango,
etc....
Once we're done, can't help ourselves from scraping till the last drop... Korek, jgn x korek... (x get me wrong :) LOL
